Product Overview
HIOKI E.E. CORPORATION has commenced sales of Digital HiTESTER Models hioki 3804-50 and hioki 3805-50, with performance and functional enhancements over their successor models 3804 and 3805. Models 3804-50 and 3805-50 are high performance digital multimeters with the following functions: DC and AC voltage and current measurement, resistance and capacitance measurement, diode and continuity checking, and 4-20 mA % measurement. While including all of the functions of former Models 3804 and 3805, the new instruments provide more accurate performance: DC voltage basic accuracies are enhanced from 0.3% to 0.09% [Model hioki 3804-50] and from 0.1% to 0.09% [Model hioki 3805-50]. Communications functional enhancements include bi-directional data transfer and now USB support along with RS-232C.

• Model hioki 3804-50
  This general-purpose model adds capacitance measurement to the basic multimeter measurement functions, and also includes the ability to record maximum, minimum and average values for convenient measurement data analysis. Other new functions include relative value display and 4-20 mA % conversion.
• Model hioki 3805-50
  This model employs a true effective value method to measure harmonic waveform components, with a harmonic percentage display function that indicates waveform distortion numerically from 0.0 to 99.9%. Display differential temperature by the two-point simultaneous measurement method: for example, by simultaneously measuring refrigerant temperatures at the liquid inlet and gas outlet sides of the evaporator in an air conditioning system. In addition, current measurements as low as several μA are supported.
